Eid al-Fitr is one of the most major religious festivals in the Muslim calendar. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims self-reflect and abstain from eating and drinking between dawn and dusk. It has been dubbed “The Sugar Feast” and “The festival of sweets” because of the sweet dishes that are prepared for the first sighting of the new crescent moon.
Eid al-Fitr is a time where friends and families come together to share, gift and enjoy food.
I have always adored the vast range of sweet treats that are prepared for this holiday and I created this chocolate collection to showcase and celebrate some of the traditonal flavours and dishes that can be enjoyed all around the world during Eid. Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, this box has been thoughtfully crafted with a wonderful selection of flavours and ingredients and it's one not to miss!
