I love thistles, they are beautiful plants and as Scotland's national flower they symbolise my Scottish heritage.  I have chosen ethical, BCORP certified Valrhona chocolates for these eggs to bring you an ethical easter experience at home.
 
Thistles are commonly branded as a weed but did you know that they are a brilliant source of food for insects such as bees and butterflies? Goldfinches have even been known to use the flowers to build nests with. They are a brilliant choice of plant for the garden to aid with rewilding which is something that we are so passionate about here at Chocolatia.
 
The eggs are available to post, please note that they will arrive in the boxes wrapped up in biodegradable bubble wrap to protect them from hatching in the post!! We have done everything we can to protect the eggs whilst shipping, but ultimately can't control the way the postal workers handle our boxes in transit. If your egg is hatched and you would like refunded then that is no problem, we will require you to post the egg back to us first. Please get in touch to arrange this via email.
